The coming of the railwayto the Eacham Historical Society, located in Malanda on the Atherton Tablelands, Far North Queensland, Australia.
The EHS:
  • encourages the study of local history.
  • collects and maintains historical records, material and places of historic interests.
  • promotes the interchange of information through talks, discussions, excursions and exhibitions.

The Society has a strong and active membership with a special interest in publishing books and periodicals.

The Historical Resource CentreEHS Research Services include answering mail, phone, or email enquiries; scanning of images, photocopying and historical research. (services and fee details)

The Historical Resource Centre is located at Elizabeth Street Malanda.

Contact us regarding your research projects. Services include photocopies, photograph reproduction and publication search. Eacham Historical Society charges $10. per hour for research, plus costs to cover photocopying and postage.
